Open-air GPU mining frames with cooling fans

Unstable Rig Diagnostics

Two days to turn chaotic reboots into a written triage path.

Our flagship crypto mining education course for operators who face unstable ASICs or GPU shelves and need a repeatable method before ordering parts.

Who it is for

Farm leads, night-shift technicians, and owners who still open the chassis.

You should already know how to power a miner safely and read a basic status page. You do not need formal electronics training — curiosity and patience at the bench matter more.

Ideal if your shed loses hashrate in heat waves, after firmware bumps, or when one shelf infects neighbors with mystery reboots.

What you walk away with

  • A symptom capture sheet for thermal, power, and board signals
  • Timed drills separating loose power from silicon faults
  • A recovery path document you can reuse on your farm
  • One post-course debrief call within 14 days

What stays out of scope

  • Full chip-level micro-soldering certification
  • Manufacturer warranty advocacy on your behalf
  • Pool account or wallet configuration consulting
  • Overnight monitoring contracts after class

How the two days run

  1. Morning briefings — short theory blocks on heat paths, PSU behavior, and hashboard chain symptoms.
  2. Bench challenges — rotating stations with intentionally unstable loaner units; pairs document before they touch.
  3. Fault reveals — instructors walk the room through what each team missed and why.
  4. Transfer plan — you draft how the method maps to your own fleet before leaving.

Duration: two full days, roughly 09:00–17:00 ICT with a working lunch.
Location: Bang Rak Phattana Bang Bua Thong lab, or private on-site within quoted travel range.
Provider: Web Aspenfield Hashrate Academy instructors.
Price basis: THB 12,500 per seat for public cohorts; private cohorts quoted from seat rate plus logistics — see rates.

Preparation

Wear closed shoes. Bring a notepad or tablet, recent photos of your problem shelf, and any non-confidential reboot logs. We supply meters, probes, and loaner chassis.
